Need help from experts regarding traveling itinerary wihile using Eurail

Hello, We arrive on August 14 for 15 days. Tenetively we have come up with the following:
August 15 to 19 Croatia
August 15 depart to Split,Croatia
arriving the next day 12 PM then taking a ferry to Hvar.
Planning to see Dubrovnik and surrounding islands.

August 20 to 22 Budapest Hungry.
August 23 to 24 Vienna
August 25 to 26 Munich
August 27 to 28 Zurich
August 29, 30 Venice.
Please advise if this is too ambitious or if I am spending too little or too much at any given place. Thank you

Yes, I think it is 'way too much. And whether a Eurail pass is the best way to travel also may be up for discussion.

Way too much in way too little time.

You will really get to know trains/train stations but not much in each city . . . . .

You have 2 weeks and a bit and want to visit Split, Hvar, Dubrovnik/islands, Budapest, Vienna, Munich, Zurich and Venice.

Cut your destinations in half and then you'll have a chance - it will still be rushed but a LOT more doable.

Worse than mad - a complete waste of time.

Have a look at bahn.de to see what the travel times are for these cities. In man you have only 1 nights - which means you arrive sometime that day, have part of that day and a little of the next and then move on to the next city. Including time finding and checking in and out of hotels - you may have 5 or 6 hours n each city - simple ridiculous. You should stay NOWHERE less than 3 nights (which gives you 2 days to see the place).

Definitely cut your destinations in half.

Hi mm,

Your itinerary reads as if you had bought a railpass and then entered places to visit to justify the cost.

10 days to visit 5 major sites is not a vacation, it is an expedition.

You will be in Craotia. Why not spent the rest of the visit in Italy?

Trieste, Venice, Florence and Rome come to mind.

For a more leisurely visit, skip Rome.

You can get about 85% refund on your railpass before it is validated.

"I REALIZE THIS GOING TO BE MAD" sounds like you intend to stick w/ this.

What do you plan on seeing? Is this like an airline "mileage run" where you don't care about the destination(s) but just the getting from place to place?? Are you more a fan of train travel, and don't care about visiting cities on your itinerary? If so, this is perfect. However - if you actually intend to see anything in any of those 9 places, it is simply idiotic.

(that "idiotic" bit may get my post nuked by the editors - but never mind. Its the truth)

In your OP you asked "Please advise if this is too ambitious" Yes, it is too ambitious . . . . .
