Hello--I don't know if this is appropriate to e-mail to this site, but I thought I would use it as a last resort. My fiance and I are trying to get married in the Catholic church here in the United States. Only years ago, he was previously married at the courthouse in Bamburg, Germany to a German girl while serving in Desert Storm. Now, WE can't get married until we find her Baptism certificate. Can someone please provide me with a list of Catholic churches and their phone numbers in Bamburg? We haven't been able to find a list. Thank you so much.

The previous poster gave you the correct web site for the city of Bamberg. On the left side of this site click on "Kirche und Religion". You will get a list of all the Catholic churches in the city:
Obere Pfarre
Gaustadt, St. Josef
St. Urban
St. Martin/St.Josef
St. Gangolf

My mistake: Click on "Stadt und Gesellschaft" on the left side of Bamberg's web site and then on the right side on "Kirche und Religion". It will bring up all the churches. You could look on www.google.de if there is a web site for each church or at least an address/phone or fax #.
