I have seen the euro sign on some peoples postings and wonder how it is added to my fonts and how I can use it in my posting. There have been times I would have like to use it, please help me.

Just hit the € key

Actually, type <b>&amp;euro;</b> and it should magically appear.

When I do it, I have to put a semi-colon (the symbol, not the word) after &amp;euro to make it work.

And (no spaces) &amp; pound ; to get &pound;

On my laptop its Alt Gr and $ together
this gives the &euro; symbol.

On most European keyboards it's &quot;Alt Gr + e&quot; to get the &euro; sign, and the sticker is also there on the newer keyboards.

Or you can hold down either of the Alt keys while typing the numbers 0128 using the number pad like this: &euro;...when you release the Alt key the &euro; will appear.

You can bring the Pain au Chocolat.

The easiest way to hold down the Alt key and type 0128 to get the &euro; sign or 156 to get the &pound; sign.

If you are in a Word document (rather than on the internet) you can go to top tool bar - insert - symbol. You should both of them there.

Everything is simpler if you have a Mac: The Euro symbol is the option &amp; shift keys and the number 2 (i.e., option-shift-2). Pound sign is option-3, yen is option-y.

Be aware that keyboard shortcuts (the European Alt-, the Windows Alt-, and the Mac Option) don't always display on other browsers the way they do on yours. The &quot;official&quot; way to form &euro; is to use &nbsp; <b>&amp;&euro;</b> &nbsp; as I said in the first place.
