Need Florence airport hotel

We're dropping our rental car off at Florence Peretola airport (FLR) one day and leaving very early the next morning. Need a basic, clean hotel very close to airport. Shuttle bus to airport is desirable, too. Help appreciated. Thanks.

Hi

The airport is very close to the city of Florence and I didn't see any airport hotels when I was there. When are you dropping of the car? Maybe you can spend the night in the city center instead and have some time to do a bit of walking in Florence if you haven't been there before

Regards

The airport website says a taxi to the city center takes 15 minutes and costs 15E. There is also bus service to SMN.

I know there is a Novotel close to the airport. Check their website to find it. Novotels are generally nice business type hotels with decent rooms and good breakfasts.
