Need advice on two hotels in London

Coming to London in March, I can get a great price on the Millennium Gloucester or Baileys through Londontown.com. Baileys would be about $20 more per day. Any opinions on which is the better choice?
thanks

They are right next to one another. Baileys is a restored hotel, with more "charm", whereas Gloucester is more of a business hotel.

Have you checked tripadvisor to see what the reviews are for both of them?

I liked the Bailey's much better than the Gloucester. It seemed very strange at the G. to walk through old fashioned oak doors into a room furnished in Oriental-modern. Both are good hotels, though, in a super location.

Yesterday, I got an offer from some internet site for the Bailey's at a very good price that included an upgrade from a standard room plus breakfast. It said you could contact the hotel directly.

Thanks to both of you. I guess I don't really need to pay extra for atmosphere. The difference would buy me lunch. I will keep checking for specials.

I have stayed at both hotels more than once. A $20 difference would tip me to the Gloucester. If the price is the same I would go with Baileys for the "charm" factor. They are both fine hotels in a decent location.
