Need advice for two of our days

Where should we stay nights 3 & 4 of our June trip? Originally planned on Clifden but now think the ride from Clifden to Dingle is too long and not a good use of our time.

Days 1 & 2 Doolin
Cliffs of Moher, Burren
Aran Islands

Days 3 & 4?

Days 5 – 7 Dingle
Dingle Peninsula
Ring of Kerry
Kilarney National Park, Muckross House, Ross Castle,

Days 8 – 10 Tipperary
Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle
Waterford
Kilkenny

Days 11 Bunratty or Ennis
Bunratty Castle

im-hooked,

How about days 3,4,5 Dingle just for Dingle and days 6 & 7 Kenmare or Killarney for the ROK.

Good luck.

Doolin to Dingle is a doable drive particularly if you take the Kilimer/Tarbert ferry. Rather than insert a stop between those two what about finding something between Dingle and Tipperary? I think I would do Cork (Kinsale/Cobh/Blarney)

Milage wise:
From Dingle to Tipperary is 115 miles
Dingle to Cork 97 miles and Cork to Tipperary is only 62 miles

What about this- it completes your circle without many more miles and still offers interest...
1&2 Doolin
3,4&5 Dingle
6&7 Cork (Cobh, Kinsale/Blarney)
8,9&10 Tipperary
11 Bunratty or Ennis

Good luck!
Dawn

Our advice, after spending 17 days in Ireland last May is to use the two days to get lost. We rented a car the whole 17 days and found we had the best time simply wandering the back roads of different areas - maps of Ireland and the road signs should insure we getting lost (but not too lost). Holy Island on Loug Derg was our favorite "find" while wandering the area northeast of Shannon Airport. Most popular "tourist" attractions and sites were less interesting than what we discovered randomly driving around. So good luck, and - our advice - get lost.

In response to Seattle Bob's post,
Can I ask - did you have reservations or were you just winging through as the mood hit you.
This is my first time and my first thought was, that we would drive and stop as desired.
We are travelling the beginning of Sept for 2 weeks.
