Need a hotel in Rome near the airport

Can anyone suggest a nice hotel near the airport in Rome?

The Hilton is the closest hotel to the airport and is very nice. An easy walk to the main terminal. It is probably the nicest Hilton I have ever seen although the restaurant and bar were outrageously expensive. They also have a shuttle that will take you into central Rome.

I always recommend Holiday Inn ROME-EUR PARCO DEI MEDICI. It's reasonable (115 Euro with huge breakfast), convenient to the airport (5-6 miles), has free shuttle to airport and to/from downtown Rome (scheduled).

The Holiday Inn also has a very nice outdoor pool, one of the few in/near Rome and as it is a lot cheaper than the Hilton can be a great alternative.Their shuttle service includes hotel/downtown Rome as well as airport connections, so you can grab a nice meal and soak up the atmosphere, too, if you have the energy.

Hi diane,

We also stayed at the Holiday Inn. They have a really good breakfast.

Be aware that their shuttle runs on a set schedule, so contact them for the schedule before you book.
