Navigo Easy: use any day of week?
Hello - I have been reading and watching all manner of videos and articles and I just need to know: Can the Navigo Easy card be used any days of the week? Or is this still a Sunday-Friday or whatever those days are? I'd like to get one and load it with 10 tickets, to use whenever I need to. I will be in Paris Friday-Sunday, then again, Saturday-Thursday. Thanks for any insight - I leave in two days!

Your confusion stems from conflating Navigo Easy with the old Carte Orange, which WAS of defined days duration. NA is basically just a way to store electronic tickets, much like the London Oyster card. Once you load whatever tickets you can use the NE any day.

Well, there also are Navigo Decouvert and Navigo Weekly, so that is what was confusing me... Good to know I can use it any day, however.

Navigo Easy and Navigo Decouverte are basically the names for the electronic card, upon which you can load various tickets/passes. The Decouverte requires personalization (signature and photo), the Easy does not which means it can be shared amongst people.
The Easy is more for casual tourists and you cannot buy the weekly pass on it. You can only buy that with the Decouverte card. You can buy the one day all travel pass on either (used to be called MObilis in paper form). You can only buy a "carnet", which is really a set of 10, individual t+ tickets on the Easy, though. You get a slight discount when you buy single tickets in groups of 10. You can still buy an individual t+ ticket at a machine in paper form.
The weekly passes are the ones that are only good Monday through Sunday. Individual tickets are good any day, of course, or there would be no way to ride the metro if you didn't have a weekly pass.
If you have a Decouverte you don't need to buy a new one. I have one that I just used last Fall that was over five years old, I think. I did have trouble loading it but the clerk fixed it with no charge so it would work.

Just to clarify, if we arrive in Paris on a Thursday until Wednesday, we must opt for Navigo Easy for 10-ticket book, which can be uploaded on our smartphones? Presume they are available at CDG? I'll put my husband to work on this, as we have to check out SCNF too for trains to Bordeaux and Biarritz after Paris.

For DH, I didn't do the t+ but have the IDF app uploaded on his phone and buy ticket whenever he needed. For this option u don't need to open an account but everytime you buy you need to input your credit card so I opened an account for him.
The price difference between the pre purchased t+ vs individual is minimal and we took uber a lot. The kiosk in subway station is not busy so you can buy individual paper tix using cc. For bus, I think you need coins so a mobile ticket is better. One problem I ran into is the WiFi connection to pull up my app and ticket. I had to move to certain place and waited to get it.
To also use SNCF, I think you have a choice of using RATP app instead of IDF. The website is quite informative. Hope it helps.
