Navigo Decouverte pleasant surprise
After reading posts here and online info I was under the mistaken impression that existing Navigo cards had been replaced by a newer version and older ones could not be recharged. We were ready with new photos for new cards and to our surprise the current ones were loaded today with the weekly pass. (Yes, good for four days as of today but we did the math and it works well for our plans). Plus there is the added benefit of what we call the Paris Metro Stair Master. And we can always take the bus for the view.

annhig, in the US there is a contraption called the StairMaster and it is for fitness. A stair climbing machine for cardio and strength. We call ourselves flatlanders as there are no hills and it is all level terrain here. The Metro system and the stairs involved usually whips us into shape just about the time we are about to leave.
