Narbonne for two days/cathar castles with no car?
We will be staying in narbonne for two nights and really want to visit the cathar castles, but we wont have a car. Does anyone know if there is anyway of visiting them on easy local busses or anything? Is it still worth staying in Narbonne without a car? I could stay in San sebastien for an extra night at the beginning of the holiday instead, but really likes the look of the cathar castles.
Any info would be really appreciated. Thank you

ooh, I really like Narbonne, I'd like to stay there a couple days. I was only there on a day trip. It's a nice town.
But I didn't go anywhere from it so can't answer that question. What castle do you want to go to, maybe if you said which one someone could help.

I think renting a car is your best bet... http://www.ucar.fr
will rent you a small car for 85 euros a day. Also in Narbonne are
Avis and Europcar offices.

The only "easy" solution would be to train to Carcassonne and take one of the Tourist Office bus tours to Lastours.
See http://www.carcassonne-tourisme.com/...geintrovisiter
Without a car it will be difficult. Buses are not frequent and do not run every day
See the bus network here :http://audelignes.cg11.fr/
Enter "Narbonne" after "Montée". However you could go to Villerouge-Termenès (castle) and Lagrasse (Abbey) from Narbonne.
