Hi Theresa,

I stayed in the Chiaia (SP?) district, very nice area (all the designer shops) at the Hotel Pinto Storey, a 3* right across a small piazza (Piazza Amadeo) from the metro stop of the same name. I paid 85E for a single room. Paid an extra 11E to have the A/C turned on, it was extremely hot and humid mid-Sept.

The hotel is in a nice, historic building, very nicely and recently renovated. Nice breakfast room and with blood orange juice for breakfast!, just OK service.

They are on venere.com

Buon viaggio!
