Naples to Sorrento hydrofoil

We are arriving at the Naples airport after an overnight flight. I'd like to take the hydrofoil to Sorrento (early May) but am wondering if anyone knows how often they run on a Saturday or how to get a schedule for them. Are they going to harder to negotiate than Circumvensuvia?
45 days until our trip! My Mom and I are visiting Amalfi coast, Cinque Terre, Florence, Tuscany and Venice (18 days) My mom is Italian but has never visited her Dad's homeland. Can't wait! Thank for any help.

The easiest way is to take the curreri bus shuttle that runs between the airport and Sorrento.

Kem - You can find hydrofoil timetables on:

http://www.consorziolmp.it/naso.htm

If you prefer the direct bus Kybourbon mentions from the airport, you can find timetables on:

www.curreriviaggi.it

(Click 'autolinee')

Hope this helps ...

I agree with the above: you'd better use the Curreri bus rather than hydrofoils. One of the reasons is that it could take a loooong time just to get from the airport down to the docks.
I'd suggest using hydrofoils from Sorrento only if in the next days you'd want to visit Naples for few hours (obviously no luggage either!!!)

Thank you for your thoughts! Since I can't read Italian! Is the shuttle bus easy to find and do I need reservations for it?

You don't need reservation, as you don't need to learn italian, since all you'll have to read on the bus is: "Curreri" (the company name) and "Sorrento" (destination).
You'll get your ticket aboard, and all you have to do to get to the bus stop is get out from the airport building by the arrivals. Naples airport is a small airport, so don't worry, it'll be easy and you can always ask the nearby info desk once you get there.

Thank you so much. I didn't want the trip to Sorrento to be stressful as it is the beginning of our trip and we'll be arriving on the overnight flight. This helps a lot!
