Naples Hotel?
We are going to be staying in Amalfi towards the end of our honeymoon but will be staying in Naples for one night as we head back to Rome in order to catch our flight back to the states. We will be leaving quite early, so won't have the chance to fully take advantage of a hotel, but would like to stay at a nice property (potentially on the waterfront) and spend approximately 200 Euros for the night. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Last May we stayed at the Grand Albergo Vesuvio directly across from the marina and our room overlooked the castle. (Ask for a high floor and be sure to overlook the castle or it would be a waste.) Our room was fantastic, huge sitting room, bedroom, very high tech (Shower had 38 jets!) I would recommended it without reservation (and it wasn't terribly expensive). Not staying on the water would have been a mistake. Hotel Excelsior was right next door and that would be fine as well. These would be my top two picks by far. Have fun!

My husband and I spent one night at The Royal-Continental Hotel.--It is not as luxurios as the Excelsior but shares the same water front location. We were upgraded to an apartment---one bedroom.separate dining room, two bathrooms and wall to wall terraces facing the sea. I can't guarantee the same room for you but the hotel is more than adequate for one night and should fit into your budget. If you can I suggest spending a few hours at The Archaelogical Museum.
