Naples - Aeroporto Bus
Where exactly does the bus from the airport stop in Naples? I’m coming up with several possibilities, aside from Pza. Garibaldi. It looks like it either stops in front of the Castel Nuovo on Via C. Colombo, OR between Pza. Municipio and Castel Nuovo on Via V. Emanuele. Or possibly some other point. Can anyone clarify for me?

Yes, I looked at those sites recently, which say it stops at Pza. Municipio. Then I saw a couple of references to the stop being at Molo Beverello in front of the ferry ticket booths, such as this one:

Hence, my confusion. I'm hoping someone who's taken the bus recently can chime in. Otherwise, I'll just figure it out when I get there. Where's Waldo? Brit in Ischia?

It goes from the airport and stops at the train station and then continues on to the port. If you look up those areas on Google maps, you will see the bus stop symbols. Also, the airport website lists the stops.

I'm sorry, I'm so used to saying Piazza Garibaldi, that I even wrote it down incorrectly.(I'm getting senile!). The bus makes a few stops-Piazza Municipio, Molo Beverello, and I believe it stops also at Piazza Sanizarro, I may be wrong with Sanizarro, but I seem to recall that it does, but I wouldn't swear to it. Additionally, if you want to stop in an intermediate location, the driver will be happy to accomodate you, if it doesn't take you off his route.

Too bad. I hope Matera is still on your itinerary, as I found it fascinating. I expected something rather creepy but in fact it's a vibrant, chic place that is very well set up for visitors and easy to navigate - aside from the hills. We didn't visit the large park opposite, with its great number of cave churches. One poster had warned how badly managed and maintained it was. The city core had more than enough to keep us occupied.
