My Winter Trip to Europe?

I feel a Europe trip coming on. I loved my Bavarian trip last year. I was thinking a combo trip of Paris for 4 days, Berlin 5 days and Dresden 3 days. Or would Vienna and Prague? Or ?????? Help a lady!

What are your interests? That may help others in deciding how to reply to this request. Are you open to other areas, such as Spain, Italy, south of France, etc?

We're headed to Spain on the 26th, so def. a winter trip for us. We went to Paris and Belgium last year, during the first week of April, and it was wonderful! I highly recommend making a combo out of those two. I've been to Vienna and Prague several times during the winter, and although beautiful, it was so cold that I found it difficult to spend too much time outside (and I am a BIG walker).

So, my recommendation is to combine Paris with Brugges, by way of Brussels. The 1st class, TGV train wil get you r/t in high style (food included!). Change trains in Brussels. Enjoy the food and sites!

Hello Judy, I love the Prague/Vienna combo, especially if you love music. We have not been in the wintertime but I have to believe that they will still have concerts.

Vienna combined with Salzburg and/or Hall in Tirol would be another great option in the winter. I did this trip in Dec/Jan 2007. But I agree that Paris/Belgium is a fantastic winter combo. I did that the last week of Dec/first week of Jan this past year. Sure, it was cold-- but it's bound to be cold anywhere in Europe during the winter. I'd suggest adding in Ghent too if you do Brussels/Bruges/Paris combo.
