museums with teen

I plan to buy the 5 day museum pass mostly for the benefit of bypassing lines (we will be in Paris 10 days). I want to make 100% sure my 14 yr old son will be able to bypass the lines with me. If I have to wait in the lines with him so he can get enter, the pass isn't worth it to me.

I'm assuming you're talking about Paris - yes, he can just go on through with you.

St Cirq has it right. Youths under 18 are free.

Thanks for your quick responses. As a highly impatient person my concern is that I don't have to stand in the crowded "regular" line with him to enter museums and that he can go through the more convenient
"passholder" lines with me.

I will be in Paris this winter w/ my 16yr old. I thought only EU resident students got the discount..is this not true? I don't need to buy him a museum pass?
