Museum strike/general strike in Italy 6 Sept.
Just wanted to let Fodorites know that it seems there's a general strike in Italy on Tuesday. We are in Florence (at Tourist Huse Ghiberti, great choice) and just found out all state museums are closed tomorrow because of the strike. Just giving you a head's up....

On 9/6 (Tues), also certain transportation will be affected ......

This is official site which lists strikes, BUT it's only in Italian ....
