Munich or Frankfurt

For 2 days only, I have to choose between these two cities, which one should I visit?

No question - Munich. Much more to do and see IMO. One of our favorite places.

I'll add to the trend - another vote for Munich. Also, if you are flying it means you can avoid FRA!

Another vote for Munich. I was in both cities in July. Frankfurt is a very modern (because it was leveled during WWII) commercial city with a small “old town.” Munich is a wealthy, thriving, exciting city with great museums and a beautiful “Residenz,” the expansive royal palaces and grounds of the Bavarian kings. The property has acres of magnificent gardens and statuary. One can also daytrip from Munich to castles like Neuschwanstein and Linderhof or Salzburg, Austria or Oberammagua and the nearby Alps. For sober reflection, Dachau is nearby.

And let us not forget the traditions of Octoberfest. Munich is a great city!

Here is one of many websites with more info
