I will be traveling to Europe soon and want to buy hair straightener when I get to Munich. Where can I buy one? Is there a store/market somewhere? I am looking for something cheap because my hair is thin and will do fine with a cheap one. I prefer less than 50 euros. If not, any recommendations on a curling iron? My hair needs something! Thanks!

The largest electronics and appliances store in downtown Munich is Saturn - near Karlsplatz / Stachus.
Or one of the Galleria Kaufhof department stores on Marienplatz or Karlsplatz.
If you stay further away from the historic city center, other stores may be closer.

You're looking for Glaetteisen. Try Karlstadt, Kaufhof or ?Woolworth. Though the cheapest I could find so far was 75E...wow!
