Mull- where to stay?

Found out yesterday that we can take a long weekend trip to Scotland over May Day. Mull seems possible-probably for two nights.
Anywhere nice and good to stay? Also good food? Subject to the weather we'll probably be walking but we'll have our car.
Thanks.

Go to Taste of Scotland
http://www.taste-of-scotland.com/
and search under Mull.
I warn you that Mull roads are very narrow indeed.
There are a few photos of Mull at http://tinyurl.com/2rg8f4

We stayed at the Western Isles hotel
The views from it were great, but I think that it has been taken over by a chain since we were there, so I can't really recommend it personally.

Where to stay? - well that depends mostly on what you are looking for (B&B, Hotel or ??) and your price range.

Tell us more and we can help more.

Most of the isle is single track roads - but next to no traffic except during the 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. windows when the day trip coaches travel from Craignure to Fionnphort/Iona ferry (a.m.) and back again (p.m.).

The Taste of Scotland website is a great place to start and I've sent a few enquiries.
In terms of price- I can see now that some of the hotels are more than I'd want to pay which is probably about £100 per night for a double room.
The food looks wonderful!
Thank you for your help- I'll keep you posted.
