Moulin Rouge or Lido

I think the Lido of those two. I was watching a French movie the other night, Venus Beauty Institute, and the very French owner was going to the Lido one night. I don't think French people will say, hey, let's go to the Moulin Rouge for fun (ok, I'm speculating, I just think that's really just for tourists). From what I've read, the Lido is just classier in a certain way (in a much better part of town, also) and more slick, las-vegasy (lasers, etc.), so I think it is just a more advanced level of production, more modern. The Crazy Horse is more sexual.

Some posters recommended the Crazy Horse. Yup, it is really a show. Erotic and sensual in a cozy theater where you are only a few feet from the stage. The Lido, on the other hand, is much like the Las Vegas shows with really big stage productions. In each, your admission includes a bottle of champagne per couple as I recall; check at the door. Dinner at the Lido is not their star attraction.
John
www.enjoy-europe.com/cds/france.htm
