Lots and lots of things will be closed on Mondays, so you might want to make sure you have extra time in any place where you will spend a Monday.
Whether you have 4 days in Seville depends on when you arrive and when you leave. Same with your other stops. And whether to add to Seville or Granada or anywhere else depends on your priorities and interests.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your help in this planning.
Bedar: great idea to stop at Nerja on way to Malaga.
kja: We leave on Thurs and come home on a Sat. With the above schedule, we'll be in Cordoba on Sun & Mon (looks like the Mezquita is open both days, Ronda on Sat & Sun and Granada on Mon & Tues. We planned to do the Alhambra on Tues so I think we'll be ok.
If we cut back Seville to just 3 days, and added that day to Granada, then we'd be in Ronda on Fri & Sat, Granada on Sun, Mon & Tues.

No it's near perfect. Malaga is much more interesting than Nerja. 4 nights in Seville is great. Ronda is boring to me but it's the only way to really see smaller towns like Grazalema and Bodegas etc. by using it as a base with a rental car. In all other places a rental car will be a major hassle.

If you stop in Nerja, I recommend lunch in either El Pulguilla close to landmark Balcón de Europa or in Restaurante La Marina a couple of hundred meters away. Both serve fabulous, fresh fish and seafood (they do meat as well), and both are affordable and typical places very popular with locals.
In both places you get free tapas too choose with every glass of whatever in the bar area (as in most places in Nerja). The tapas at El Pulguilla are exceptionally good, a great variety of fish, seafood and meat grilled directly on order. And La Marina is as good as you get a traditional seafood freiduría in all of Andalucía.

Egbert we have decided to stay in Malaga and stop in Nerja for lunch as Bedar suggested. We want to see the small white villages so will use Ronda as our base.
Kimhe thanks for the restaurant suggestions!

We were in Malaga last september, and went to Nerja. Don't miss the Balcon de Europa and a visit to the Caves.
We did it from Malaga, going in the morning, and have lunch in Nerja. We were back in Malaga around 4 pm.
In Malaga you can enjoy the pedestrian zone, really attractive, good vibe.

May be this is of interest about Malaga.
There is a free elevator that takes you to the Alcazaba fortress, or you can enjoy a good walk up the hill.
Amorino(best ice cream) is on the pedestrian zone.
Also on thebpedestrian zone are the Cathedral and the Thyssen Museum.
When going down from the alcazaba, you can visit the house where Picasso was born, the church he frequented as a child, ans the famous tapas bar El Pimpi.

You have changed itinerary so many tinmes I dont know what to suggest... When are you travelling?
One night in Ronda is enough, but if you want to visit white towns, you'll need two, and a car. Read my post somewhere in Fodors: "Pueblos Blancos Trip", for driving directions, a bit old but nothing has changed much (I'm local). About Malaga, most of the city center is now pedestrian.
Check carefully your hotel in Ronda, some are noisy. Post here for advice.

Thanks for tips Jlopez. I've already cut and pasted them into my document.
Josele: I'll take a look at your post on Ronda. We do plan to have a car to see the small white villages in the area while in Ronda, so that is why we've planned 2 days there.
mamcalice: We will keep 4 nights in Seville and 2 in Granada. We'll see the city one day and the Alhambra the next (both am and pm), leaving early on the following day to stop in Nerja on way to Malaga.

Don't forget to buy your tickets for the Alhambra in advance. We went many years ago, and this year we went for the day from Malaga, and it was impossible to buy tickets for the same day,
Enjoy your trip!
