i fail to see bob brown,s logic. influenza is a naturally occuring disease that has never beeen propagated to cause mass infection. also flu is passed on by the typical aerosol respitatory innoculation tract. anthrax is non contagious from human to human. flu is a yearly occurance especially due to its constant mutation and there are hundreds of small local epidemics. there have been less than 25 cases of anthrax this century. for technical reasons its much harder to cultivate flu virus that a common bacteria like anthrax. in addition its only 1 innoculaton for flu vrs 4-5 for anthrax. the biggest problem is that mass infection of pulmonary anthrax woould require massive amoounts of 1 specific antibiotic to combat the problem and the mortality rate is several times higher that it is with flu. maybe you should respect anthrax a little more- itds potential is more devastating(unless we get the 1914 spanish flu mutation again)

Now all the freaks and weirdos are coming out of the woodwork.
Today in Genoa, a woman recieved a letter with powder in it. She called the police and when they opened it, there was the word anthrax written on paper.
They were in five that went straight to the hospital.
After all tested negative, the real culprit came out.
It was a nasty joke. Someone put chalk powder in the envelope to scare this woman.
The person that put pudding in the envelope in the US was probably getting his thrills for the day too.

Mohammed Atta (pilot plane that hit WTC-1) was in Spain on mid- July 16. Investigators believe he was there to attend a big meeting. Stayed in Tarragona, Hotel Casablanca.

To Ack: Get your facts straight. Don't know what the NY Times is reporting right now & don't care. Try the Washington Post. Or any local Reno paper. 1st test was positive, 2nd was negative, 3rd was positive = CONFIRMATION. Or you can just read the post from somebody who works in the building where the letter arrived.

Now there are even more people with anthrax spores on their person--I'm afraid that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
