Montpellier airport hotel?

Hello all,

We are flying into Montpellier late at night (arriving 10:30 pm) and we just need a nearby hotel for the night, we'll be picking up a rental car in the morning, so something right at the airport would be ideal. Alternatively, we could try to get into town that night and get a rental car in the city. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, budget is around $80 or less. Thanks!!

I've not stayed right at the airport, and don't know what's available, but can recommend the Novotel that's on the outskirts of Montpellier and so easy access. A new and pleasant property that includes a pool (you don't say what time of year you'll be there) and a decent restaurant. The restaurant's open fairly late, but you could also arrange for a cold dinner to be prepared and waiting for your arrival.

You can see it at:

There's an Ibis hotel, slightly lower price point across the street from the Novotel.

We stayed at the Airport Hotel in Montpellier last July, and it was around 70euros. It is definitely convenient, with a shuttle to and from. We were heading out early the next morning, so it was great. The hotel is nothing special, but you do get convenience.

Hi

Central Montpellier is only 5km away and there is a shuttle.

However, there is one airport hotel. It is the Airhotel at : http://www.r-hotel34.com/index-gb.htm

I've never stayed there (I live nearby !).

Bonne chance

Peter
