Hey Cindy<BR><BR>I was there about 2 months ago, recall that it costs (I think) 15 euros. You need your passport and to wear long skirt, cover shoulders etc, much like a church. It's VERY impressive, and a little scary watching people blow 1000s of euros on single numbers at roulette!

I too will be in Monaco during ealry July. It is my understanding that there are 2 casinos. The first is informal dress. The second, the one that you see in the movies is much more upscale and requires a woman to wear a dress and men a tie and jacket. Sorry I do not know about age requirements.

Cindy,<BR>What Carolyn said is true. Your daughter will not be allowed in. In some of the areas of the Casino, you are allowed to wear shorts (e.g. to play the slot machines). Loads of fun. We had our kid with us. There are a number of cafes right outside, so our kid sat in the cafe eating an ice cream, while we had one child minder and three gamblers -- going round in shifts. (okay, we're not big gamblers -- we only spent about an hour doing this!).

Hey cindy<BR><BR>Just checked out the ticket price (I found my ticket last night), it's exactly 10 Euros to get in.<BR><BR>The gambling minimum and maximum stakes change throughout the day so it's a little difficult to quantify them.<BR><BR>I think Nice and Monaco in one day is optimistic, make it two days, or if not, concentrate on Monaco as it's spectacular...<BR><BR>Enjoy!
