I liked Mouton Blanc and several others on this board have had good things to say about them.
It isn't fancy, but the price was reasonable and it had charm. It is in two adjoining buildings on the Mont. Parts of the buildings date from the 14th century and it as served as an inn since the 1600s.
Their food was also good.
They didn't have email, but responded promply to faxes sent in English.

My daughter and I just returned from France and stayed in a very nice B&B close to Mont St Michel in Servon, that we found in the Karen Brown book and website. It was very resonably priced and very large rooms, but we had a very hard time finding it! We called the B&B and the owner gave us better directions. We had a great view of Mont St. Michele out the window!
