Minori is pretty teeny and fairly flat, so no need to really "get around" in it.
If you are referring to getting to other villages, utilize the travelmar ferries/catmarans (there are more options, too) and Sita buses. Prepare for crowded busses especially to more popular towns like Amalfi, Ravello, and Positano. If you have mobility concerns, getting on/off the boats do require good mobility due to swaying boat. In bad weather, travelmar often suspends service.

I may be in the minority here (heh heh) but we believe it the best AC base. Our related TR below:

I think it depends on what you want to do while on the coast. If you want to explore the various towns along the shore, Minori would be a great base. That or Amalfi. If your priority is to see the gardens of, and views from, Ravello -- and if you ware willing to pay for the privilege -- then Ravello. To my eye, among the most beautiful places in the world.

Minori is nice (also home to one of our favourites - Pasticceria Sal de Riso!). We usually stay in Amalfi (as it's the transport hub, but that also makes it busier), though the nearby Atrani (10 minutes away from Amalfi, quieter) is also a good base. Frankly, June is not far and I'd lock down acco (wherever available) right away.

Another vote for Sal de Riso, yum! Minori is lovely, we did the walk of the Path of Lemons walk from there, a gentle hike and much easier on older knees!
We stayed at Atrani, a short 6-7 minutes walk from the transport hub Amalfi and a quiet haven on the coast. Pretty good food options too for such a small town.
