Milan to Positano

I'd appreciate any feedback on options for travel from Milan to Positano this September. We will actually be leaving from Bellagio on Lake Como and wanted to
get to Positano as quickly as possible that day by ground transportation. I admit I haven't done any research on the train schedules, but wanted to see what kind of suggestions you might offer for transit points. As always, thanks for your help!

Not trying to be rude, but have you looked at a map of Italy? I think ground transportation is going to eat up at least an entire day of your vacation. I'm guessing roughly 8+ hours by train, with at least a few connections/layovers in major cities. Why not fly from Milan-Naples, then arrange a private transfer to your hotel?
