What do you want to see? If you only have a 1/2 day (or less!?), it would probably be better to just visit the one or two things at the top of your list.
If you want to see the Last Supper, you'll need a reservation, and the entire visit will probably take almost an hour. Time to get there, check in, about 20 minutes inside, and then time to move on to your next sightseeing location.

Dee, we were just in Milan a couple of weeks ago. Our hotel highly recommended this company: www.livemilano.com. We did not use them since our flight time was changed and besides we had visited Milan several times previously. Hopefully one of their tours will work for you. I don't particularly care for Milan but somehow we have managed to end up in Milan because of itineraries, pricing, schedules, etc. The food is great and the window shopping is spectacular and unique.

jean ... we have 1 1/2 days in Milan & will be there in November. I have been to Milan before, but this will be the first time for my friend that I am traveling with.
treesa .... we are in Milan for the same reasons as you. I would rather be in another city/town
but our flight is in and out of Milan. I will check out your suggestion, Thanks
