Metro tickets

Hey! I'm travelling to Paris in July and I'm wondering what type of metro tickets I should purchase....Any tips would be helpful, thanks

The best system is variable, depending on the number of days you are staying and how central your accommodations are.

Ok well we're going for a week tuesday to tuesday...

When we were in Paris for a week we just bought two 10pack carnets of metro tickets and used them as we needed them. We were in the Marais district. Don't forget to keep your ticket when you go through the turnstile as you will need it when you exit the metro.
