Edinburgh- almost too many to mention. Recently, the Basserie at the Scotsman and the restaurant in the Dakota

York- the Willow is the best Chinese I ever ate in. It was a long time ago, but.

Cotswolds- The Dirty Duck (The Black Swan) in Stratford the Saturday before my wedding

London- the Cedar in Wimbledon does really nice Lebanese food and the people are great too.

Skippers on Dock St.
York - J. Briggs
Miltons Two
Conwy - Bistro Back
Bath - Sally Lunn
Moreton in Marsh - Manor Hotel
Ask
Broadway - Mt. Cafe
London - Gessler at Daquise (Thurloe St.)
Jen Cafe - Chinatown Newport Pl. and Lisle St.
Wildwood
Windsor - Wagamamma

I don't know of a J Briggs in York?
Could you mean J Baker's Bistro?

Meant to say, did you eat in the John Muir Room or the Brasserie at Oran Mor?

I'm not sure. We were not far from the bar just inside the entrance from the outside dinning.
