Mediterranean in November
We're headed for our first cruise- shoreline Mediterranean in mid-November. I've been reading about what to pack, weather, etc... but would appreciate any additional info. We're sailing Viking if anyone has specific knowledge. We start in Rome and end in Barcelona.

Rome can be very pleasant in November. There's a chance it will be chilly and wet, but it could also be sunny and cool. Barcellona would be much the same.
I don't know what sort of information you're looking for, or what other ports you'll visit.

I assume you will be sailing on the Viking Star, November 14. Two nights in Livorno, one each in Monte Carlo, Marseille and Sete, with an extra overnight in Barcelona. Normally I would recommend that you join cruisecritic.com, find your “roll call” for your particular sailing. Some of the larger cruise ships have long roll calls with hundreds or even thousands of messages. So far, it looks like the roll call for your sailing has only 8 names and little conversation. You also might try to re-post this in the "Cruises" forum here, but as bvlenci says, it would be helpful to ask some specific questions.

I was in southern France, including Marseilles, several years ago in November, and the weather was pleasant. I wore a lightweight coat. It was sunny, not cold. You should check online weather sites to see what the weather has been like for the last several years.
