Mediterranean Cruise in November... Is it worth it?

My husband and I are celebrating our 30th Anniversary in November and we are planning to either go Holy Land or Mediterranean Cruise. What's the weather like in Europe around that month? We've been to Europe 2 years ago but it was a land tour and we went in June so the weather was excellent really nice. My husband and I enjoy walking and sight seeing esp. historical places and sitting around the pool or in the beach is not fun for us.

So please help. I really appreciate any feed backs and thanks in advance.

The weather in November is November - can be moderate, can be chilly, you'll get some rain and you'll be seeing beach resorts off season - with some to many places closed for the season. Pools will be closed and beaches OK for walking - not sunning (except possibly most southern Spain)

Do you have to go in November? All I can think of is rainy and chilly. Personally, I would wait until spring and be almost guaranteed of warmer weather.

I would go to the Holy Land while you are youngish since visiting sights requires lots of stairs. My neighbor went to the Holy Land a couple of years ago and said she was glad she went then before she got any older since she saw some older people on the tour struggling with the stairs, apparently there are lots of stairs. I saw the same comment posted on a Holy Land tour on the Middle East board.

Depending on where your cruise stops, November can be dreary, gray, and rainy. I would do the Med cruise earlier in the year such as late September/early October.

Just know that's rainy season in many places , for example in Italy. Do you go to Venice? It might be under water then. Last year I went to Rome, Milan and Tuscany late October , early November and it was non stop rain, maybe with a day or two break.

Thank you guys for the responses.

I want to go Nov. because it's our anniversary but if its gonna be unpleasant weather then we won't go. I guess will do cruise next time because summer to Oct are pretty much taken now these months are very hard to book where I work so it's too late for me to reschedule my vacation so I have to wait till next year.

So Holy Land is good to visit in November.

Have a nice day everyone and God Bless.

Who knows what the weather will be like in November in 'Europe', which encompasses a vast territory, from north to south, east to west. Predicting the weather in the Mediterranean is no different. We've encountered absolutely beautiful weather in late November, as well as cold rain and snow in late October. It all depends on what the weather gods have decided.
