Does she have it here ? If so, look at the policy, and if it says that emergency treatment is covered, then it will be covered there. You'll pay any bill with a credit card, whatever, and then submit the bills to her insurance company. It will reimburse you.

I called the AAA ... they offer a travel/medical coverage ... I needed just medical ...they gave me the details of the insurance company they deal with ....It's Allianz phone# 888 877 1027...and offered me medical coverage for $29...they were extremely helpful.

Agree check to see if her current coverage is valid outside the US (many private insurance is).
Also be aware that you will need a notarized letter giving you approval to take her out of the country - and to oversee her medical care if necessary.
