Marseille Airport Hotel - Which One?
We depart from the Marseille airport at 7am. Will spend our last night in Provence at an airport hotel for the convenience of a very early departure and take a taxi into the city for a final dinner. Can you recommend a good hotel that is "right at the airport"? Its so hard to tell from web descriptions. Some that are listed as "airport" hotels are 25 km away. Thanks.

Joanel: Thanks for your help, but this web site doesn't list hotels that are actually at the airport. Very misleading web address. I've looked at it before.
I do think the Sofitel is at the airport, but the price tag is $200 per night. A little pricey for a one night, unromantic stay.
Any other suggestions?

The Marseille airport is actually outside Marseille in an area called Marignane. Here is a web site that lists specifically hotels at that location, there are 6:

There are several 2* hotels there; Ibis is a reliable budget hotel.

We ended up staying at the Best Western for $99 Euros per night. It was a good choice for one night. The rooms are tiny, the baths are nice size, the food was o.k., the bar had nice wine, it was a perfect location for our early morning departure. We actually walked to the hotel from the airport after returning our rental car and then took the airport shuttle at 5am the next morning to catch our flight. For a one night stay, it was good value.
