Marriott London Heathrow

Would appreciate any comments on this hotel or any recommendations for a well maintained, service orientated accommodation in the vicinity of the airport. Thanks.

We've stayed there a couple of times. Nice hotel - wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Hotel Hoppa bus service takes you to/from T123. If you're just looking for a room for one night, why not try Priceline and bid for a 4* at Heathrow. That's how we've gotten the Heathrow Marriot and the Heathrow Sheraton Skyline for less than $70 (US) per night.

There is also a pub within walking distance to the Marriott. Just walk down the street that runs along side the hotel until you get to the end (about a 10 minute walk.) Much more reasonable than the hotel restaurants.

We usually stay at the Novotel...also on the Hoppa route. There is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to...about 5 mins away!

I've got it booked for one night in October - thanks for the heads up about the pub, Kay.
