Markets for antiques and accessories around Aix, restaurant suggestions for 1 night dinner in Aix.

Does anyone have information on the markets in and around Aix? Looking for small items, candlesticks, pottery etc. What about food?

I've stayed in Aix many times and love the market, which takes place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. There is always a section devoted to antiques/bric-a-brac. I also enjoy visiting the depot-vente in the Avenue des Belges, which is only a couple of minutes walk from the tourist office and right across from the main Post Office. The depot-vente is in a huge, underground garage and takes items on consignment and from house clearance. As regards a restaurant, we love "Le Poivre d'Ane" at 7, rue de al Couronne. This is in the old town, a 4 minute walk from the Cours Mirabeau. They are closed Sunday and Monday and only open for dinner. Reservations are a good idea and theirphone no. is 0442-93.45.56. You'll need the code for France first. We'll be back in Aix for three nights next month.
