Marco Polo ot Trieste by bike

My wife and I will be bringing our bikes/landing at Venice Marco Polo airport and wish to bike out of the airport to Trieste and beyond. I need help with a good route (no expressway or high volume traffic). I have considered biking the Lido Di Jesolo to Caorie where I can probably figure out a route. The question is how do I get to the Lido di Jesolo? Any ferry or valportte to Burano than on to Treporti (or Punta Sabbioni)? Or do I have to go to Lido di Venezia and than to Punta Sabbioni?
Anyone who knows a good route, please let me know.

There are ATVO buses right from the airport to the Lido di Jesolo.

The ATVO entry page has an interactive map that allows you to find other regional buses, too.

Thanks for the info. Great advice.
I have wandered throught the site and asked them if they take bikes and what the cost would be. I am awaiting their reply.
Do you know how busy the S14 Highway is? Or do you know if there is a less traveled than the S14 road, to Portegrandi?

Sorry, I can't help you with that. You might want to poke around on the web -- it seems there are a lot of cycling trip reports out there, and one of them may have what you want to know.
