I will be visiting Paris in the end of March, any suggestions??

Strongly recommend continuing popularity of the 2002 wardrobe -- the fewer desirable items to tempt airline baggage handlers &amp; security checkers, the better. <BR><BR>Seriously though, dress for the projected &quot;average&quot; weather &amp; your comfort &amp; be absolute positive to take nothing you aren't willing to have stolen. At least on the return trip you will most likely be able to lock that luggage.

Most Parisians wear bright red coats, white pants and a sporty beret with a feather in it when they March.

Mia,<BR><BR>We are leaving today for our 4th trip to Paris! We love the city. On our first trip I thought that everyone would be dressed up &quot;haute style&quot; but they were not. You can see anything from jeans to city casual to dressy office wear. I always travel in what I wear to work which is black/grey easy care knit suits/pants. I bring several colorful scarfs and tees. Comfortable shoes are a must. I would never go to any big city and dress in casual sports wear but that is just me. I like to bring clothing that can be washed in the &quot;sink&quot; if there is an emergency. Have a great time and enjoy Paris it is wonderful!

Mia,<BR>You will need a jacket and/or coat (maybe a coat with zip-out lining?). Other than that, as is oft suggested, layers are probably the best bet for early spring. If you have a Chico's store near you, you might want to try some of their Travelers line. Some of my family thinks it is pricey (usually $60 to $90 for a jacket, $40 to $70 for pants or skirt), but they often have a large selection of sale items. Travelers is made of that kind of slinky knit material - doesn't take up lots of room when packed and (important for me) does not show wrinkles. Good walking shoes - which I am still searching for myself since I haven't found just the right pair - in black or another dark color will probably coordinate with more of your outfits and not show dirt as much as a lighter color. We will be in London and Paris as well in late March/early April - can't wait to be there again. Good luck.

Mia, don't forget a warm hat, scarf and gloves, you can shop for them after you arrive but you might need them as soon as you arrive, have been to Paris in March and April when it was damp and down right cold. Don't forget the umbrella and wear dark colors because you will be doing lots of walking on the streets and dark clothing won't show the street grime that gets kicked up on the sidewalks and tossed from the traffic. I sound like I am painting a very bleak picture and that isn't what I want to do. I love Paris and not even cold rainy days dim its' beauty. You may be there on beautiful sunny days and you'll not have any problems. I just remember a couple of trips when the sun never did shine. Have a great time, its' a magical city. Deborah
