Manchester hotel

Need suggestions for an upscale hotel in Manchester. Going to the ManU v. Lpool match in April. At least the tickets were free.

Something centrally located.

Hi Ann,

I'm full of envy. I won't be able to make it to any more games this season, but if there was one, that's the one I would choose.

Anyway here is a short list:

The Renaissance Manchester Hotel
Malmaison Manchester
Crowne Plaza Manchester - The Midland
Le Meridien Palace

Can't go wrong with any one of the above.

Check this site for more info:

Have a great time! and tell your boys not to beat up on us too much. They are not feeling good at the moment anyway. ;-(

Hippest in Manchester and very upscale, The Lowry is also well known for attracting Man U players to the bar, so it would fit your bill perfectly.

Thanks. I had another recommendation for the Crowne Plaza, and was told it's on the tram line to the stadium.

Kate, as I'm a Liverpool fan, it's probably best that I stay out of the Lowry. Of course, neither team will have anything to play for at that point...
