Well having been to Liverpuddle several times I must admit I would rate it slightly above Manchester in terms of what it offers the tourist - especially those like moi wishing to track down Beatles sites - took a Magical Mystery Tour bus and then went back to track down the various sites like where John Lennon's mum was killed by a bus - the hovel Ringo Starr was raised in - Strawberry Fields and even flanner's posh Catholic private school (whose dismal level of edikation is shown whenever flanner posts!) -sometime you can't tell the fglanner pooch's posts from the real dude!
