Manchester airport

It's been a while since I used Manchester airport. I recall it being pretty small and the train station in the aiport.
Is it possible to catch the 14:27 train from the airport if my plane is supposed to arrive at 13:50? I will be connecting thru London where I will go thru immigration and have only carry-on. Thanks.

It's been several years since I flew into Manchester and from there took the train to Leeds. Although the airport is rather small, I'd not count on catching a train in only 37 minutes. Hopefully someone with more recent experience will respond to your question.

If you're arriving on a domestic flight, it can't possibly take more than 15 minutes absolute tops from the gate to the platform, including time spent queueing for your ticket because your card won't work and the person in front of you doesn't speak English.

Whether your flight will get to the gate within 30 mins of its scheduled time, especially if it's started at a London airport, isn't really something anyone on this board is qualified to advise on.

Thanks all! I seemed to remember getting to the train station in less than 20 minutes and sitting around a bit waiting for the train.
I would prefer to be on this particular flight vs another overall less convenient flight. I am supposed to meet someone which is why I would like to make the 14:27 train. I think I may take the chance. I guess I just have to worry about the flight from London to Manchester.
Thanks again!

If your plane is on time this is certainly possible. The station is between terminals 2 and 1. Will you be coming in to 3 from London? If so you could run there I think in about 5 minutes after passing through Customs.
