Manarola Restaurant Suggestions?
Hi All,
We'll be heading to Manarola from Venice on the fourth, and probably won't be arriving to our B&B (Arpaiu) until around 4:30/5:00. I was thinking about where I should try to make reservations for that first night there (we'll be there 3 nights total). I'd like someplace ideally with a view, good food, where we can just have a relaxing meal without going too far. One recommendation has been the restaurant at Marina Piccola; has anyone eaten there? I'd appreciate any other recommendations in Manarola. Thanks!

I ate at Marina Piccola a number of years ago, and have very fond memories of eating delicious, incredibly fresh fish while enjoying a view of the harbor. I also ate a wonderful pesto pasta one night somewhere along the main street, but I don't remember the name of that restaurant. Your B&B can probably make a recommendation. Enjoy!

I ate at MP twice in October 2006 (we stayed there for 4 nights.) We also ate at the other restaurants in town -- I don't remember their names, though. The one at the top of the hill, that you pass on your way from the RR station is good, too; & whatever the service may like, the ambience makes up for.
Honestly: every meal we ate in CT was wonderful -- because we were so happy!
We also ate one night at the little restaurant/hotel in Corniglia. Delightful! Spectacular setting, home-like feeling.

The Marina Piccola is very good with a wonderful view of the little harbor. Also the restaurant right in front of you as you come out of the tunnel. I think there is a bar on the bottom floor and upstairs is a small resto. The night I was there, we were the only customers. Great food and fun to watch and listen to the family watching the Italian version of How to Be a Millionaire. Sorry I don't remember the name.
