Making a Reservation @ Reed's

I want to make a reservation for a birthday dinner at Reeds in Paris. I emailed Reeds at [email protected], but have not gotten a response. Does she take a bit to respond to emails? How far in advance does one need to make a reservation? Thanks!

Give Catherine a few days to respond. She is a one woman operation and takes Sunday and Monday off. BTW, the name of the restaurant is Reed.

I have been there a number of times, most recently a few weeks ago with Joan Grace. I think you will enjoy it!

She didn't respond to my email either so I had our hotel book our reservation before we arrived in Paris. Catherine Reed is a delight as is her cooking.

Thank you both! I will be patient and give her more time. We're staying in an apt and arrive in Paris a few days b4 the bday. Is that too close to try and get a res for a midweek evening? If I don't hear from her via email should I phone her a week before or 2 weeks before? Trying to get a sense of how busy the restaurant might be.

Why don't you just call in advance to make sure. Or ask your apartment owner to make the reservation for you. That way you will have it done and won't be worried.

Have dined there twice. Emailed for the 1st reservation and made the 2nd one for later in the week upon finishing our lovely meal. She is very gracious.
