Majorca, Sicily or Buenos Aires in April??
What do you think for approximately 7 nights in April? Love Italy (visited about 5 times, but never in Sicily), don't know Spain (shockingly enough), lived in Ecuador, but not familiar with other parts of S.A. In Buenos Aires, would be interested in a few nights in city and a few out in the countryside.
Advice, suggestions?? Looking for good climate, fun, excellent food and great experiences...with some relaxation built in...

If money is an object, go to BA; we spent a week there two years ago and had a blast. Against the dollar or Euro, things are amazingly cheap. You could do a few days at a ranch in the pampas or take a side trip to Iguazu Falls during the week. People are lovely and the food is terrific, if you are a carnivore.Your decision really depends on what you would like to do as far as activities.

You don't say when in April you'd be going, but the first two of April are a bit too early for Sicily. Also, in Sicily, you really would want to rent a car, so if that's not doable in your budget, you might skip it. One carless possibility for Sicily, however, is to fly to Palermo, enjoy the city for a few nights, then take a boat to one of the Aeolian islands. But again, April is not really beach weather in Sicily.
Even with a car, seven days in Sicily will allow you to see just under half of it.
BA certainly is cheap and no doubt you could find ways to get into the countryside or across the river to some of the resorts in Uruguay.

Thanks for the feedback.
We are thinking that we will rent a car for Sicily, or for BA if we head out to the country. Doesn't have to be beach weather, but is end of second, third week of April pool doable in either place? Several of the hotels I have researched do have pools, wonder if worth it. Also, any itinerary, hotel, restaurant suggestions? Love food and wine
