Restoration Hardware stores carry a variety of excellent magnified mirrors.

I can't see without my magnified mirror. I found a 10x round mirror with suction cups on the back that was great for traveling at Bed, Bath & Beyond. It is large enough to put makeup on but small enough to travel with. It's about 4" round and cost about $15. You could probably order it online if there are no stores near you.

A word of advice though. Hang something colorful like a ribbon from the suction cups because I've left two in hotels already. With something bright dangling from it, it should be easier to spot when packing up.

Note that there is a much better selection of magnifying mirrors in Europe. I bought one at a pharmacy in Paris some years ago. It's 9x on one side, regular on the other - 6" diameter with a handle that sets in a stands, then swivels and can be adjusted back and forth as well. Awesome! It goes everywhere with me. I pack it between clothes. So far, it hasn't broken.

Here in California Longs Drugs and even Walmart have them. I keep one of the small ones in my purse, but sometimes you can see more than you really want to.
