Maersk Airlines?
Going to Brussels and to the Netherlands from 11/24/04-11/29/05 and planning on renting a car from the airport to tool around. Then planning to fly from Brussels to Copenhagen on the 29th of November and rent a car there for a few days. Can anyone tell me about flying on Maersk Airlines? Should we feel comfortable with this airline? Virgin Express is more expensive to fly on, any reason? Also, any suggestions about where to stay in Copenhagen and how much we should expect to pay for a hotel there? We do not have a ton of cash, but don't want to stay in a hole or get royally ripped off. Any other suggestions for the trip would be really appreciated. Oh, one more thing, any suggestions about how to easily figure the conversions from dollars to euro and DM? Can you tell we need help?
Thanks much.
Thanks much.

Your "other" post - - with this correction - - will inherently get separated from this one (where the error is). So you should have posted the correction here, as a reply to yourself.
But no big deal (and I see that you are quite new to the forum) - - cutting and pasting your other post here for continuity sake.

Well you certainly do need help.
First in searching this site. Type in 'Maersk' and you'll see the question was last asked two months ago.
To convert from your currency to the Euro and the Krone (the DM ceased to be used some time ago) divide one by the other. If someone's invented a rule of thumb ("double it and divide by five"
that works today, currency fluctuations mean it won't in two months' time.

msickler, what budget do you have in mind for Copenhagen? I used Priceline to get a 3* hotel in Copenhagen, which ended up being the Mermaid hotel. I was very pleased with it and got a great deal considering the prices of the alternatives. But some people might not like it because of the shower setup. I liked it because of the location and breakfast and staff.
For conversions, go to http://www.xe.com or http://www.oanda.com . Although Denmark does not use the Euro, there is some sort of pegging mechanism which means there isn't much fluctuation between the values of the DKK and the Euro.
I don't think there is any good reason why VE is more expensive than Maersk on this route. There are always pricing anomalies on airlines.

Maersk is a good quality airline. service is the same as on most airlines in Europe and better than some.
If you're concerned about satefy, dont be. Their record is 100 % safe. owned by the maersk shipping line which is a high quality company that wouldn't run a low quality airline.
Maersk Air just recently started flying from brussels to copenhagen and are having problems filling the seats on that route.that could explain the low fare.
