Lyon Train Timetable to Annecy

Hi....I'm here in Australia trying to firm up my itinerary. My main question is how frequent are the trains between Lyon and Annecy? How long is the train trip on average? And is it a direct train or how many changes (where) involved.
We will be travelling on MONDAY 28th May 2018. I know its a long way off and tickets not yet available......but on some websites I see no train options only bus on Mondays....and on another I see only 1 train at 10.40 arriving around 13.15.
Lyon and /or Annecy may not work for us if trains are limited.

Prior to this my plans are we're coming from Paris TGV to Avignon. Then a self guided 3 day cycling tour from Avignon -saint Remy- Arles- returning to Avignon on the 26th.

We need to get to Geneva on the 29th or 30th and I thought we'd go to Lyon for 2 nights and then train to Annecy. BUT not sure if this will work depending on train timetables .( from Annecy I was going to take the bus or taxi to Geneva)

Wouldn't it be best to actually look at the French national railways website? You can't get schedules for next May, though, they are never posted that far in advance.

I can't imagine what those websites are, but as I said, use SNCF. For next Monday, for example, they show both. Trains are TER, autocar means bus, as well as the ones marked bus for example.
