Lunesta anyone?
Anyone tried Lunesta for a Trans-Atlantic flight?
I've had trouble sleeping and so my M.D. gave me an Rx for it. I've tried it and it lets me sleep for 6 hours straight. Thought about using it on my up-coming flight to Euorpe, but worried that actually sleeping that much in economy (you know what I mean), may result in waking up with pains n my neck, back, etc.
Any experience with this?

We were going to, because of the low cost, but they don't fly out of Atlanta and it was too much hassle to get to the connecting airport.
Also some friends said that the seats weren't comfortable and the flight attendants unhelpful.

I have tried both Lunesta and Ambien on Eastbound Transat flights....both help me get off to sleep and catch about 4 hours on the plane...which is my max.
However, I have found that for me, the Lunesta left me more groggy and foggy at landing time. (With either one, you should be a little concerned on how it affects your decision-making in the first hours after landing).
I only take one pill max, and only after we are well airborne and unlikely to be turning back etc. Plus I only do it when I know well the airport I am going to and the transport routine etc.
Guess you will have to experiment a little. I think the drawback is a fuzzy head rather than neck/back pains etc.
