lunch with a view

Just found out that La Samaritaine is closed. Where is another place to go have some lunch or pastry and get a good view of Paris?

The roof top of the Monde Arabe, just a bit upstream from Samaritaine which has been closed for a few years now

The resto up on Monde Arabe also gets good reviews - a tea shop more than resto perhaps

There is a restaurant on the top of the Pompidou centre, with an outdoor terrace when weather permits. Excellent views from there.

Go up for the view but NOT for the lunch. Lousy service and terrible attitude. Food mediocre.

Jules Vernes in the Eiffel Tower.

Lunch menu Monday; three courses for
45 euros. Not cheap, but memorable.

Last June my husband and I had lunch at the Cafe Richelieu on the first floor of the Louvre Museum. Ask for terrace seating, and you will have an
unforgettable view of the glass pyramid entrance.
